Κατά τη διάρκεια της λειτουργίας, ο π. Χρήστος Καρυδόγιαννης έκανε ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στον Σταυρό του Χριστού και τη σημασία του στη σωτηρία της ψυχής. Τόνισε ότι ο Σταυρός αποτελεί σύμβολο θυσίας, αγάπης και ελπίδας για τους Χριστιανούς.
Κατά τη λειτουργία, ο Σταυρός τοποθετήθηκε στο κέντρο της εκκλησίας, όπου οι πιστοί προσκύνησαν με ευλάβεια και προσευχήθηκαν.

Mid-Lent Sunday celebrated in Κaritsa with reverence and devotion
On Sunday, April 7, 2024, the community of Karitsa came together to celebrate Mid-Lent Sunday in a spirit of reverence and devotion. Faithful parishioners gathered at the Church of Evnelistria to attend the Divine Liturgy and pay homage to the Holy Cross.
During the service, Father Christos Karydogiannis delivered a sermon that focused on the significance of the Cross of Christ for the salvation of the soul. He emphasised that the Cross stands as a symbol of sacrifice, love, and hope for Christians.
The Holy Cross was placed at the centre of the church, where congregants approached and offered prayers. The celebration of Mid-Lent holds great importance for the spiritual lives of the villagers. This year's observance was marked by the turnout and a palpable sense of devotion that filled the church.
